Our company first started as an advisory firm to small business and mid size owners to assist in the confidential sale of their businesses. After expanding the company and representing business owners and sellers in the sale of their companies, we recognized that the difference between success and failure centered was on a quality professional business valuation.

Owners that had an accurate understanding of the value of their company were able to plan and make decisions on reality versus using misunderstood revenue and profit multiples. We learned that business owners with credible information to substantiate value were able to plan for their business exit as well as have a useful tool in their negotiations.

We made a strategic decision to transform our company from strictly a transaction advisory firm to a business valuation and business appraisal firm to reach a much wider market, both in geography and in scope. Though we do still sell companies, our roots are those that understand the reality of the marketplace.

Michael is Monarch Business Valuations founder.  As one of International foremost turnaround CEO’s, his experience growing and doing real world Business Valuation before and after acquisitions . Michael leverages his knowledge of multiple industries to effectively restructure and streamline companies impacting the bottom line by leveraging proven experts in finance, accounting, operations, strategy, and management to pinpoint bottlenecks and maximize efficiency. With real world experience in the buying and selling of companies he always need to know the true value of the company, Michael is uniquely positioned to understand what metrics are deemed most important when approaching a merger or acquisition opportunity. He sits on multiple venture capital advisory boards, specifically helping prospective investors understand a company’s inherent value and growth potential—making him invaluable when objectively evaluating a company’s fair market value.

Skilled in all areas of executive management, including developing operations throughout the country, building premier distribution networks, creating innovative packaging and advertising, and expanding into new industries and markets.  Has a proven track record of increasing sales, reducing costs, and streamlining operations with both small and large companies.

Corporate Partnerships: Sam has successfully established exclusive corporate partnerships with RTD ($518.5 Million), Denver Transit Partners ($2.1 Billion) and Travelers ($27 Billion), giving them access to new market niches and expanded industry range. He has  advised in processes including IT development, operations, inventory management, marketing, risk management, liability mitigation, contractual language, quality control and customer service. skilled in all areas of executive management, including developing operations throughout the country, building premier distribution networks, creating innovative packaging and advertising, and expanding into new industries and markets.  Has  a proven track record of increasing sales, reducing costs, and streamlining operations with both small and large companies.

 

Scott Stewart, CPA MBA

Vice President of Monarch Business Valuation.

Scott Leads our business valuation team His background is in finance and business. He is a CPA and holds a master’s degree in accounting. He has held prominent management positions for a variety of cities and counties. He has been involved in tax code both for entities seeking compliance as well as in a tax enforcement position and specializing in business valuation.

Allyn Anderson

President of our Commercial Real Estate and Business Brokerage Division.

Allyn was born and raised in rural Wisconsin but has always known the Colorado mountains were his home. While working several years in the telecommunications industry, he studied marketing and human resources management at Marian University and went on to get his Master’s in Business Administration at Denver University. Allyn moved to Colorado in 2010 but still remains a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers. With years of experience as a landlord and business owner in both Denver and Littleton, Allyn is familiar with the variety of businesses available in the Denver metro area. Enjoying hobbies such as boating, snowboarding, hiking, and disc golf, Allyn can help find the best fit for either the active or leisurely Colorado lifestyle. He would be equally happy to meet up at a dog park or a Rockies’ game to discuss the ideal business. Tony is president at Esolen & Associates PC and provides the MVB with independent financial counsel and audit for Monarch Business Valuations company valuations. He is the current chairman of the Jefferson County Audit Committee and a former senior manager of KPMG audit division.
